Meetings

The Branch meets every fourth Thursday, this means that we have thirteen meetings a year. If the date falls between 24 December and 1 January the dates are amended to a three-week and five-week gap.

We meet at Southwick Community Centre, Southwick, BN42 4TE from    7.30pm to 10.00pm.

Shows

We attend a number of exhibitions run by other clubs, including in France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

Branch Show

For some years the Branch ran its own exhibition “A Fort Full of Models” at Newhaven Fort, on the south coast.  We still maintain our contacts with the Fort.  However, we have not held a show for a couple of years.

This year in conjunction with Horsham Historics Preservation Society and the Morris Register we organised a scale model show at the South of England Showground in Ardingly on 11th and 12th July 2009.

The result was a success, so we have agreed to repeat the experiment in 2010.  Dates will be announced in due course.
